Mrs. Birch is passionate about helping students at every level learn the skills necessary to improve their lives and the world around them. She is excited to be a part of the CLASSICAL team with its emphasis on developing the entire student. Previously, Mrs. Birch served as an elementary and middle school teacher for over a decade. She has taught a variety of subjects including grammar, reading, and math. As a choir teacher, Mrs. Birch instructed elementary and high school students in music to help them understand the beauty and order inherent in the world. Mrs. Birch has also been a registered nurse for over 27 years and has worked in doctors’ offices, as well as having been a school nurse. Mrs. Birch has been married for 25 years and has 6 children between the ages of 7 and 23. The youngest two attend Cincinnati Classical Academy.
