Hailing from Taiwan, Ms. Cathy Chiu’s lifelong passion for symphony orchestras has been a driving force in her musical journey. Following her studies at Peabody, Ms. Chiu has performed as a violinist with various orchestras, including the Richmond Symphony Orchestra of Indianapolis, the Queen City Opera Orchestra in Cincinnati, and the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. Beyond her dedication to performing, Ms. Chiu has an ardent commitment to music education. She is enthusiastic about imparting her love and knowledge of classical music to students at CLASSICAL, nurturing their musical foundations to provide a gateway to a rich world of musical exploration. In her leisure time, Ms. Chiu enjoys reading novels of all genres, indulging in music, and exploring the great outdoors through hiking.
