A First Look: Campus Development Plans

Bona Verba from the Headmaster

It is no exaggeration to say that the search for a permanent campus for Cincinnati Classical Academy has been as much a series of unpredictable twists as it has been a saga of relentless perseverance. A search that began in 2020, fraught with uncertainty and stymied by logistical and financial labyrinths, has culminated—finally, in the fall of 2024—in the promise of something truly remarkable.

As if to mark the occasion with an exclamation point, we invite you to join us on December 3 at 7:00 PM in the Sojourner Truth Auditorium at the Siebenthaler Campus for a FIRST LOOK at our development plans for 2025-26 and beyond. This event will provide an exclusive preview of the transformation awaiting Cincinnati Classical Academy as we expand into the high school grades and grow our presence on our new Blue Ash campus at 10200 Reed Hartmann Hwy. It is our privilege to offer this window into the future, a future built not just on bricks and mortar, but on the bedrock principles of classical education that have defined our work since day one.

The story of Cincinnati Classical Academy is, in many ways, a story of success against the odds. Our inaugural year saw 450 students—setting the stage for what would become the largest community school launch in Ohio’s history. Since that time, our student body has expanded greatly, growing each year. We currently serve over 750 students in grades K-8. In just a few short years, we will be home to a thriving K-12 school with 1,300 students on two campuses

Alongside this growth in enrollment, the school has been blessed with remarkable academic achievements: ranking as the third-highest in statewide testing results among Ohio’s community schools and winning the Harold Shaw Prize in our second year at the state science fair. But it’s not just about test scores and trophies. At Cincinnati Classical Academy, we are committed to cultivating an edifying culture, one that honors the moral character and civic virtues that fortify the bedrock of our nation.

Our mission is clear: we will never stray from the principles that have guided us from the start. We aim not only to develop the minds of our students through a content-rich curriculum in the liberal arts and sciences but to nourish their hearts, preparing them for lives of purpose, integrity, and leadership. Our students will not only live rich lives for themselves but will be equipped to enrich their communities and their country. We hope to be a beacon of that same edifying spirit, not just for our students, but for our parents, teachers, and broader community.

We are excited to share this new chapter with you, as we raise the torch and lay the foundation for Cincinnati Classical Academy’s bright future. Join us on December 3 for this historic unveiling.
