Mrs. Nies is looking forward to another rewarding year of teaching in the Middle School Humanities Department at Classical. Having grown up in a family where education and music were highly valued, she earned her bachelor’s degree two years early while garnering numerous awards as a classical pianist. She and her husband have spent most of the last two decades living in Europe, where she raised her eight children and founded a school. Her favorite subjects to teach are literature, grammar, and composition.
