CLASSICAL is proud to continue our Veritatis Splendor speakers series, welcoming Mr. Antonin Scalia. Mr. Scalia currently works at a political consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Previously, he was a Policy Strategist at Palantir Technologies, the Communications Coordinator of Princeton University’s James Madison Program, and host of the Program’s podcast. He has served in a variety of roles in the federal government, including most recently as an advisor to the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Arms Control and as a speechwriter to the U.S. Secretary of Education. His Grandfather, of course, is U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia (1936-2016).

What my Grandfather Taught Me about the Constitution

Questions to be Addressed:

  • How does the U.S. Constitution secure our rights and liberty?
  • Is the U.S. Constitution exceptional? If so, what makes it exceptional?
  • How important is virtue to a constitutional republic?
  • What can we do to preserve—or recover—the American republic?
